In the computer area, most of us have at least one or two online accounts for various services. No matter if we are talking about Facebook, email, FTP or online file sharing, when having numerous online accounts, it's really difficult to remember the password for each of them. Setting the same password for all the services is not a good idea because a hacker who takes over an account can take over all of them, when having the same password.

A much better solution for storing your usernames and passwords is to use the PassLocker application. This Windows program allows you to keep all your login information for various services in a safe place, protected from curios eyes. After the program is installed and launched, the user will first need to set up a master password for application access.

At this point, one will be able to write the password using an on-screen keyboard, to prevent keyloggers from capturing your password. After setting up the initial password, the user will be presented with the main interface of PassLocker. There are several categories displayed in the left, which will make it easier to organize the user's personal information. As such, one can add information regarding credit cards, Internet websites, email accounts, remote banking and so on. Additional categories can be easily added to the application.

When adding sensitive information, one can use the program's on-screen keyboard, to avoid keylogging utilities from capturing and storing the user's login information. What's more, PassLocker includes an advanced password generator, which allows you to create secure passwords, which are almost impossible to break by hackers. All the data added to the application can be exported to a file and re-imported later on, in case the user needs to re-install PassLocker.
